Strong Girl Fitness (SGF) is run by Stephie Abbott, a fitness, lifestyle and personal trainer. Founded in 2016, SGF specialises in providing Training and Fitness Services, ranging from 1:1 Personal Training to Bootcamp Courses.

Privacy policy introduction
SGF respects your privacy and pledges to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information. We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party. We take special care to protect the privacy and security of your information. We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the services you have requested from us and to keep you updated with any business changes/modifications.
This policy explains our information practices and the way that SGF collects and uses your information. This Privacy Policy covers the information you provide to us via online and/or offline channels including (but not limited to) email, website, mobile, business cards, leaflets, posters, brochures, contracts and agreements, invoices and remittance advice slips, noting how your data will be used and stored in accordance with the GDPR which comes into force May 2018.
Using your personal information At SGF, we want to give you the best possible client experience. Therefore, personal identification information such as name and email addresses will only be collected and used to keep you updated with news that is of legitimate interest such as business changes, projects or news articles. Your personal data may also be used:
  • ​To send client agreements, invoices, and late payment notifications To confirm meetings, project start dates or completion of services
  • To send invitations to key events pertinent to the client and hosted by SGF
  • To respond to queries and complaints; keeping your details on file to inform any future communication, demonstrating how prior communication was made
  • To protect our business from fraud and other illegal activities noting your email address as a trusted source
  • To send you relevant, personalised communications by post or email in relation to updates, offers, and services. We’ll do this on the basis of our legitimate business interest.
  • To send you communications required by law or which are necessary to inform you about our changes to the services we provide you. For example, updates to this Privacy Notice, fee changes and legally required information relating to your agreement.

The data we hold is minimal, will not be shared with any third parties unless required to do so by law or to prevent fraudulent activity, and is to inform and direct attention to business updates and services provided by SGF only.
Your right to withdraw consent
Whenever you have given us your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent. In cases where we are processing your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you can ask us to stop for reasons connected to your individual situation. We must then do so unless we believe we have a legitimate overriding reason to continue processing your personal data. Anti-Spam/direct marketing We only ever send information relating to the services of SGF. Direct marketing is minimal and will only outline a change of service, business update or to introduce SGF as a legitimate interest to your business. You have the right to stop the use of your personal data for direct marketing activity through all channels, or selected channels. We must always comply with your request.
To opt out of future direct marketing
Please email stephie@stronggirlfitness.co.uk with your request. Your personal information will then be deleted from our direct marketing database.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SG fitness & nutrition is fully insured for the cover of Personal damage and injury to clients, however, a client must take responsibility for themselves and equipment used within the facility under Strong Girl Fitness & Nutrition.

SG Fitness is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind or service that are late or changed for any reason and all purchases are final. SG Fitness will not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, minor illness or injury, change of address or any other reason. A refund may be applied if you (the client), can no longer commit due to serious illness This is under the trainers’ discretion and depends on the severity of the illness.
 
SG Fitness has the right to terminate the sessions at any time for individuals, without a refund, if you do not follow the program or fail to conduct yourself in an appropriate manner.
 
It is your responsibility to advise us of any changes to your health status that may alter your ability to perform exercises and you are advised not to attend sessions if suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other ailment. These must be noted in the health questions below. We are not trained medical professionals and so we advise you to consult your doctor before undertaking any vigorous exercise. If you believe there is any risk to your health from doing any of our exercises, you must notify us immediately.
SG Fitness & Nutrition acknowledges and respects the privacy of its members. We will securely and confidentially maintain all personal, medical and training information, individual training logs and will not disclose your information to any third party in any circumstance.

Any nutritional advice, programming, or service is to be confidential between client and trainer and not shared with any third party.
A health questionnaire is to be conducting via writing or verbally with the trainer prior to any activity within the premises.
